‘Relish the Barossa’ Butter Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500 gm Barossa Fine Foods chicken thighs
  • 1 small brown onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2cm piece ginger, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 x 500g jar ‘Relish the Barossa’ Authentic Butter Chicken Sauce
  • Fresh coriander, to serve
  • Jasmine rice, to serve

Method

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Peel and finely dice the onion, garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat a large saucepan over medium heat and add the olive oil. Cook the chicken until lightly browned. Add the onion, garlic and ginger, then sauté until soft and fragrant.
  3. Pour in the ‘Relish the Barossa’ Authentic Butter Chicken Sauce, stir well and reduce the heat to a gentle simmer. Cook for 30 minutes.
  4. Serve with jasmine rice and garnish with fresh coriander.
