Gourmet Meatballs with Chimichurri

  • 2 (450gm packets) Barossa Fine Foods Gourmet Meatballs
  • 2 tbls Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Flat leaf parsley leaves
  • 2 tbls Oregano leaves
  • ½ Cup coriander leaves
  • 2-3 Cloves garlic
  • ⅓ Cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tbls Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dried Chilli Flakes
  • Sea Salt
  • Ground black pepper


  1. Preheat oven 180℃
  2. Heat a large non stick frypan over a medium heat, add the olive oil & fry the meatballs in batches, turning frequently until browned on all sides. Place the meatballs on a tray lined with baking paper once they are all browned and place in the oven for 7-10 minutes or until cooked through. Serve with the fresh chimichurri and cocktail forks.
  3. For the fresh chimichurri sauce, in a small food processor place the garlic, parsley, oregano & coriander leaves, pulse until all herbs are finely chopped. Stir through the olive oil & red wine vinegar, taste and season with the sea salt and ground black pepper.
