Sausage Roll Wreath

Preparation:
Ingredients
- 480g Barossa Fine Foods traditional pork sausages
- 1 sheet butter puff pastry
- 2 Egg yolks
- 2 tbspn full cream milk
- Fresh bay leaf, rosemary & thyme to garnish
Method
- Cut the pastry into 2cm strips, keep chilled and set aside.
- Pre-heat a fan forced oven to 180°C.
- Place the sausages out onto a lined baking tray and shape into a circle. Wrap the strips of pastry around the sausages, leaving a 1cm gap between each piece of pastry.
- Make an egg wash by mixing the egg yolks and milk together.
- Brush the egg mix over the pastry, season with sea salt, then place into the pre- heated oven and bake for 20-25 mins, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh bay leaves, rosemary and thyme, then serve.
