Smoked Chorizo & Cheese Muffins

  • 2 Barossa Fine Foods Smoked Chorizo
  • 1 Cup Grated Cheese
  • 3 Eggs
  • ¾ Cup Milk
  • 50 gm Butter, melted
  • ½ tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 tbls Chopped Parsley
  • 2 Cups Self Raising Flour


  1. Preheat oven to 180℃
  2. Roughly chop the chorizo, place in a cold frypan, over a medium heat fry the chorizo until it starts to brown, once cooked place on paper towel to cool.
  3. In a bowl whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, salt & parsley
  4. Sift the flour into a large bowl, add the cheese & chorizo, then add the egg mixture, mix till combined
  5. Spoon mixture into a 12 hole muffin tray, lined with baking paper
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or till golden brown


  1. Serve with pumpkin soup or as a after school snack
